I. One True God
There is one true God, as revealed in the Holy Bible, creator of heaven and earth and the first person of the Holy Trinity.
II. Jesus Christ
Jesus is the Son of God and second person of the Holy Trinity. He was born of the virgin Mary and lived a perfect and sinless life on earth though He was tempted in all ways as we are. He died on the cross, was buried, and rose on the third day to defeat the power of death. His atoning work on the cross makes it possible for those who believe in Him as Lord and Savior to be born-again spiritually and never experience the second death.
III. The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity. He is the Spirit of God who comes to live in the life of the believer at spiritual new birth. He is our Helper and our Comforter He is the Spirit of Truth who guides us throughout our Christian walk. His gifts and fruit are in operation today just as they were in the New Testament Church.
IV. The Holy Trinity
Although the term "Holy Trinity" is not found in the Bible, this wording is in harmony with its teaching that God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit are the same yet three separate persons - coexistent and coeternal - executing distinct yet harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.
V. Mankind
Man is lost spiritually and has no righteousness within himself to deserve or merit Divine favor. The only way for man to receive salvation is to be born-again spiritually; that is, through repentance of personal sin accompanied with belief in the heart and confession with the mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
VI. The Church
The church is a spiritual organism composed of those believers who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and who assemble in the name and in the power of the Holy Spirit (1 COR 5:4). The church was created by Jesus Christ Himself for the purpose of magnifying the name of God through worship, development of its members to Christ-like maturity, engaging in spiritual warfare through prayer, intercession and fasting, and to be an agency for evangelism.
VII. The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, was written by people inspired by God and moved upon by the Holy Spirit. It is the infallible and authoritative Word of God profitable for teaching, correction, spiritual conviction and training in righteousness. It is the all sufficient guide for faith and living.
VIII. Ordinances
(1) Water Baptism: Baptism by immersion in water is only for the born again believer. It is an outward sign of an inward change symbolizing the believer has died to sin and the old way of life and been raised to a new way of life in Christ Jesus.
(2) The Lord's Supper: A fellowship meal in which the believer calls to mind and remembers that Jesus Christ gave His body and shed His blood for the remission of sins thus creating the New Covenant. It is a meal that has not ended since the days of Jesus. It will be finished when we partake of the fourth and final cup with Him in heaven at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
IX. Baptism in the Holy Spirit
This is a distinct experience apart from salvation. Jesus told His disciples who were already believers filled with the Holy Spirit (John 20:22) that they would be clothed with power from on high (Luke 22:49). Jesus said this power would be the result of being baptized in the Holy Spirit. This occurred in Acts 2:4 - the initial physical gift evidence being that they spoke with the Spiritual gift of other tongues as the Spirit gave utterance. This same power is available for all believers today.
X. Divine Healing
God does not put sickness on anyone. God's will is that all believers be healed and free from both sin and sickness. Jesus paid the price for our sins and bore our infirmities so we would not have to. He accomplished this both while He walked the earth (MT 8:16-17) and through His atoning work on the cross of Calvary (1 Peter 2:24).
XI. Stewardship
Every believer is the recipient of God's manifold gifts and blessing - both temporal and spiritual. Every believer should cheerfully return back to God a portion of what he has received from Him in terms of time, talents, tithes and free-will offerings in order to further Christ's work on earth.
XII. The Blessed Hope
A future yet imminent event when those who are born-again spiritually - both the living and those who have already died in Christ - will meet the Lord in the air prior to the seven years of sorrow also known as the Great Tribulation.
XIII. The Existence of Satan
Satan is a created angel who was high in heavenly stature but fell under God's condemnation due to his ambitious pride. He is the "great deceiver", the "god of this world" and the "prince of the power of the air". Satan stands in direct opposition to the Kingdom of God and is the adversary of all Christians. His desire is that all people accompany him in his ultimate destination - Hell.
XIV. The Final Judgments
All individuals - both living and dead - will have a final judgment. Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as personal Savior and were faithful to the end will have already been worthy of heaven and only their "works as Christians" will be judged. Any person who has not accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior - whose name is not written in the Book of Life - will be accordingly condemned to hell.
XV. Heaven and Hell
Heaven is a literal place and the abode of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, had their sins washed away by His atoning death on the cross, and were faithful to the end. Hell is a literal place of punishment reserved for Satan, the lost angels who followed him, the Beast and False Prophet, and those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Each individual makes the final choice as to where he or she will spend eternity based upon his or her acceptance or rejection of Jesus Christ as Savior.
